Lisa took these pictures, as Addison loves hanging out with Lisa, especially in Lisa's room!

Okay – So don’t hate me because I’m beautiful!  This is what I look like when I have a day at home with Mom, Dad, and Lisa.  I don’t have pretty clothes on, my face is not clean, I have boogies in my nose and I have to do my own hair!

This is one of my favorite spots in my house.  I get a piano lesson in almost daily.  I really like it when Lisa sits with me!  I like to sit on the left side of the piano.  I think that I like the low notes the best!  Maybe it’s because they are louder!

This is Lisa! As you can see, Addison and her have quickly become buds! Lisa has fastly become a member of our family. She seems to be enjoying school, and has gotten involved with many things; such as a member of the upcoming school play and the Chamber Choir. She is quite the amazing young lady - her parents should be proud of her! I can't imagine being strong enough to leave everything I know behind and coming to a foriegn country, in good faith, knowing nobody - and doing as well as she has. It's been an adventure for sure. Jen and I are happy to be her host parents, and Addison seems to really enjoy having an older sister.

Addison and Great Gradma Doris enjoy spending time together.

Lisa wasn't too interested in riding in a combine, but we thought that she should atleast give it a try. Uncle Jay was polite enough to take the time to let Lisa ride along, but Lisa said afterward that she probably knows everything there is to know about the combine after just a half a round riding with Jay. Sorry Jay, you must have bored her a little!

Inside the cab of the combine. Not everyone stayed for the ride - just Lisa, Addison, and Jay.

For some reason, Jen thought that you might like to see what Soybeans look like standing in the field close up.
