Addison and Lisa's weekend!

This weekend was full of fun!  When Jen got home from Rochester she found Lisa and Addison sitting on the couch laughing.  Lisa had her camera and Addison again had a very messy face - isn't that ironic?  Addison found the cranberry juice and crackers that were on the coffee table.  What a sight!  Really, she does more than just eat, and really she doesn't always have a messy face!

Lisa had a group of friends over on Saturday night to watch a movie and play some board games.  Addison enjoys all of Lisa's friends, but she sure seems to enjoy Dalton!  Jen thinks that she might have a slight crush on him, or could it be that he has a slight crush on her?  Hey Nic...Do you remember this outfit?

"Mom, I think that Dalton is really nice..."

"Look at how he looks at me..."

"...and he can play the piano!"

"He also cooks!"

"Dalton's so fun, he makes me happy!  And, yes, those are bits of crackers hanging from my nose!"

A chance meeting...Orphan Sunday

Ye, Guishu – 10 months ago in Southern China at the Social Welfare Institution.

Addison Guishu – Today, at home with us!

As you go to sleep tonight and every night after say a prayer for all of the Orphans that are out there waiting for a forever family.  Maybe you will get the bug or God will send a sign for you to enter the amazing world of adoption!

Halloween Fun!

That's right, Addison's first Halloween with us was a special event; so much so that she dressed up as a little piglet!  Imagine that!  Her Grandpa Kainz used to raise pigs and her Grandpa Fultz is an active pig farmer.  I'm sure she'll look back at these pictures and be real proud!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Fultz enjoyed seeing Addison dressed as a little piggy, and she seemed to enjoy showing off for them too!

Great Grandma Leonard was treated with a visit as well.  Addison really seems to soak up the attention!

Jen thought that it would be fun to visit, or disrupt rather, a dance-line parent meeting with a visit from a little piggy!  They all thought that Addison was adorable - plus she got some candy which was a huge bonus for dressing like a little pig.

Addison wanted to make sure that we made it to Leslie's - she told Addison at day-care that there would be lots of candy if she made an appearance; boy was she right!

This is Dalton, one of Lisa's good friends.  This was Addison's first Halloween appearance, at the local restaurant where Dalton works.  One of Dalton's favorite dishes to serve is one of Jen's favorites to eat - Taco salad with Blue Cheese dressing!  Just ask Dalton - it's awesome!

Starting to get tired!

But still happy!

Addison's piggy outfit even had little piggy's feet - check 'em out!
