Denver Ski Trip

We took a trip to Denver in mid March to visit Addison's God Parents - Lacey and Paul.  Oh, and Addison tried skiing for the first time.  She had fun, but was only patient enough to go down the hill twice with ski's on; after that she preferred to either be in Dad's arms or Lacey's arms skiing with us.

We took in Denver's Butterfly Museum while we were there as well.  Addison really liked the fish tanks and the Butterfly's not so much!

I'm not sure if the pictures tell the whole story, but Addison is well on her way to becoming a pretty average billiards player!  "Can I play pool with you daddy?"  I'm not sure I'll ever be able to say "no" to this girl!

Addison and I went up north for Thanksgiving, as mom had to stay at home to work on Black Friday at the store.  It was good bonding time for Addison and I, and she seemed to like playing with her cousins!  They even found time to make play-dough.

This past weekend, we enjoyed a visit with our Wisconsin forever family.  We met up and stayed near the Twin Cities; took in the Minnesota Science Museum on Saturday and the ladies did some shopping in the afternoon.  On Sunday, Bill and I watched the Vikings get demolished at the Metrodome by the Green Bay Packers, which I'm sure Bill enjoyed as he is a Packer season ticket holder; everyone else went to the Mall of America and took in the underwater Aquarium.  It was fun to get together once again and see how much the girls have grown and changed even since our summer trip to Memphis.  

These pictures are from the Science Museum as well as some from the place we stayed, a nice little farm house (a guest house) that Jen's cousin Todd owns.  It was a fun weekend get-away for everyone, even if the Vikings lost :-(
