The Dr. Visit.

The Dr.'s visit went pretty well for Addison considering she is a healthy baby.  She didn't much care for being poked and prodded, even though she didn't get a shot, but overall she did pretty well.  At least she didn't have to the Dr.'s confused or worried like some of the adoptive children that were there.  I'm sure these Dr.'s see all types of problems being that just during our visit about half of the children there were adopted through the special needs program, or the Child of Promise program as it's known.  The boy in line just before us for the Internal Med Dr. had her all worried.  She couldn't find his heart beat on the left side of his chest - because it's not there, but she didn't know that.  After some looks of c onfusion and gesturing and then getting another Dr. to come into the examine room, the parents were able to explain that his heart is on the right side of his chest - it's flipped around.

Besides the Dr.'s visit we didn't have much else but shopping to do today.  Sound's like a repeat for tomorrow.  We are waiting for paperwork to be processed by the American Consulate - Addison's Visa.  There is some other paperwork as well, so hurry-up and wait is all we can do before we get to come home.  Oh yeah, and shop, shop, shop!  I'd like to think of it as look, look, look  - but let's be realistic, you don't get to shop in China everyday!

We ate at Lucy's as a group last night.  Jen and I ordered burgers again, they're really good what can I say.  However, I did get to try Squid as one of our travel mates ordered it.  It was pretty good, not as rubbery or fishy as the Cuddle Fish we have tried earlier in our trip.  At times the food has been quite an adventure!  It's all been good!

Pictures to follow later.  Later, Jason.
