We were finally able to get on the internet and get this post done.  It's Saturday morning here and the pictures that follow are from Friday, and even though it was just yesterday it seems like a long time ago, my how time flies!

We are at the White Swan hotel, the baby hotel as it's known to the locals.  They have been a part of International Chinese adoption for a long time, so they are the most westernized place we've been in China.  Actually the island that the White Swan sits on (surrounded by the Pearl River), the Shamin Island if that's how you spell it, is quite westernized as a whole.  We had take out from Lucy's restaurant last night at about 10:00 pm, big old cheese burgers and fries!  It was pretty nice having some comfort food to get started in this part of the last leg of our journey to Addison.  However, we have 5 more days to explore Guagzhou, so I'm sure that we'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy some of the local Chinese cuisine. 

We're off to have Addison go see a local Dr. to make sure everything checks out OK, so until maybe later tonight if I get a chance to update some photo's from today.  Later, Jason.
